1999

The company’s first headquarters

The company’s first headquarters is located in a warehouse measuring just over 90 m², provided by partner Luis Morais.

2001

Part matrix 12,000

Part matrix 12,000 – Luis Morais, Sadi (kiko) (In Memoriam), Hélio (Batoré) and Adelar – The team pleased with the achievement!

2002

The world’s first plastic trailer

Luis Morais next to the world’s first plastic trailer, part 12,000 manufactured by Rotoplastyc. The customer Stara Sfil won the Gerdau award with this product.

1st Meeting of Rotomolders

Luis Morais, Vicente and Nelson Formentini at the 1st Meeting of Rotomolders held by Politeno in Bahia.

Moving to an area of 25,000 m²

A big step, moving to an area of 25,000 m², with 7,700 m² of built area close to BR 386.

24/7 Operating Factory

Production loading of part 12,000 – Factory operating 24/7.

Production of larger parts

Construction of the machine called “Gigante” (“Giant”) because its dimensions allow the production of larger parts than those found on the market.

First 24,000 part

Production of the first 24,000 part by the “Giant” machine – partners Nelson Formentini and Luis Morais, always participating directly in all processes, with employee Nelson Pires.

2004

1st Rotomolding Technical Seminar

Together with its main suppliers, Rotoplastyc held the 1st Rotomolding Technical Seminar, unprecedented in the area, bringing together the technical teams of its clients, in order to clarify doubts regarding all polymer processes until reaching the final product. 2005

Polyethylene tanks

The company supplies polyethylene tanks for the Pierre Auger project, involving more than 15 countries and around 50 institutions, mainly universities. The destination of the tanks produced was the province of Mendoza in Argentina, close to the Andes Mountains, where they were used to detect energy produced by cosmic rays, most of which come from the galaxy itself and which, when colliding with the Earth’s atmosphere, produce secondary products, but no biological effects. Gaucho Business Highlight (Destaque Gaúcho Empresarial)

Luis Morais and Nelson Formentini represent the company, awarded by Destaque Gaúcho magazine as the Gaucho Business Highlight of the Year.

Rotoplastyc is ISO 9001 certified.

2008

Expodireto Cotrijal

Rotoplastyc in its first participation as an exhibitor at Expodireto Cotrijal.

Factory Expansions

The company continues to invest in its infrastructure with expansion of the factory.

2010

Speed, agility and productivity

The company enters the market offering solutions through its own line of products, first innovating with stationary tanks and tank trailers for transporting liquids, then presenting ready-mix equipment, always intending to offer better speed, agility and productivity to its customers.

2012

Israel de Almeida Trophy

Awarded with the Israel de Almeida trophy – The Israel de Almeida trophy was established in 2008, when ACIC celebrated its 90th anniversary, in honor of the entity’s first president. Brazilian companies, businesspeople, public figures, nationally or internationally active, and presidents/CEOs or former presidents/CEOs of entities who have provided relevant services to the association or the business class are entitled to this trophy.

New facilities

New specific facilities for the RP Commercial Own Product Line.

2014

Consolidated brand

Rotoplastyc is present at the largest Agribusiness fairs. A brand consolidated through a history full of great achievements!

2015

New visual identity

Rotoplastyc presents its new Visual Identity.

2016

Metal unit

The company has developed its own high-tech metals unit.

2017

Installation of photovoltaic energy panels

In line with our mission to grow sustainably, we invested in solar panels in search of clean and sustainable energy.

2018

New administrative area

Thinking about the well-being of its employees, Rotoplastyc made several improvements in the administrative department, modernizing the spaces.

2019

Celebrating the company’s 20th anniversary

Rotoplastyc celebrates its two decades of history, being a reference in rotational molding in the southern region of Brazil.

2020

Change in management

The former Industrial Director and partner Luis Carlos Alves de Moraes, leaves the company, with the management of Rotoplastyc remaining with the Formentini family, with directors Denise, Director of Financial and Personnel Management and Nelson Formentini, Commercial Director.
