From January 25 to 27, Rotoplastyc gathered its employees to launch the SOL Program. The program is based on the 5S methodology and aims to implement internal improvements that translate into better process quality, work environment, and products.
The SOL Program begins with the first three sensos (principles): sorting, organizing, and cleaning. To put these actions into practice, a committee of multipliers was created, with 25 employees representing all departments of the company. This committee is responsible for sharing the concepts, monitoring actions daily, and conducting audits to ensure a better work environment, tool and document availability, and improved productivity and product quality.
The program also focuses on employee well-being. “We are inviting all our employees to join us in making Rotoplastyc a better place to work—cleaner, more organized, and healthier. All other results will be a consequence of our well-being in the workplace”, says Huliana Formentini, project manager and member of the multiplier committee.
The program is beingimplemented across all areas of the company, from production to administrative departments, becoming part of the employees’ daily routine.
