Solidarity at Rotoplastyc’s Christmas

20 de December de 2019 - Social Responsibility

The days leading up to Christmas inspire many people to practice solidarity more actively by collecting gifts for donation. During this time, it is common for thousands of Christmas letters to be sent to Santa Claus, with wishes ranging from simple requests like sweets or food for a holiday meal to more elaborate ones such as toys and dreams, all awaiting the kindness of the “good old man”.

For this reason, during December, Rotoplastyc held a campaign to collect non-perishable food items and sweets to donate to families and institutions within the municipal education network. This year’s selected school was EMEI São Lucas, which serves a total of 88 students.

The humanitarian initiative was launched by the members of the 2019/2020 CIPA (Internal Commission for Accident Prevention) and was warmly welcomed by the employees. The campaign benefited many underprivileged families and contributed to a more abundant and joyful Christmas. The company also contributed with personalized candy packages to delight the little ones, which were delivered by its official representative, Santa Claus himself.

Rotoplastyc considers community engagement an essential element for its growth, and this initiative is one of the most meaningful for the company, which hopes that this spirit of humanity and altruism will be carried on by all its employees.
